1. Kia Picanto (2024) – €39 / $46 p.d.
The Picanto is our most chosen car for couples, solo travelers and people who drive mostly around Willemstad, Mambo and Jan Thiel and have no more than 1-2 suitcases. Nice and compact for the narrower streets and parking near busy beaches. Despite its size, it is air conditioned and drives economically – nice if you go back and forth more often. Ideal also for people who mainly stay in Willemstad, Mambo and Jan Thiel.
Suits: solo, couple, short trips, carry-on only, budget traveler.
2. Kia Picanto Deluxe (2025/2026) – €42 / $49 p.d.
Same size as the Picanto, but newer and just a bit more comfortable. Great if you want to drive small but want a modern interior. The car comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
Note: one high chair is possible, but you will be full in the back.
Fits: 1-2 people, city trippers, small families.
3. Kia Soluto (Sedan 2025) – €49 / $57 p.d.
Now we get to the people with just a little more stuff 😄 The Soluto is a sedan, so you have a real trunk. Stroller? Often fits lying down in the trunk. Beach gear? Also. Stuff from the supermarket? Can fit out of sight.
Fits: small family, 2 adults + 2 children for most comfortability, travelers with stroller, people who do not want luggage visible.
4. Nissan Versa (Luxury Sedan 2025) – €52 / $61 p.d.
More interior space and more comfortable seats. Useful if you drive long distances (e.g., often to West Point) or want to put larger people in the back seat. High chair fits fine. Trunk is spacious enough for 2 large suitcases + hand luggage. Collapsible wheelchair also fits.
Fits: families with 1-2 children, business travelers, taller people.
5. Hyundai Accent (Luxury Sedan 2025) – €55 / $65 p.d.
Similar to the Versa, but very modern inside. This is your “safe choice”: automatic, A/C, trunk, done.
Also handy for people who are here temporarily and want to bring a little more from time to time.
Suits: anyone who wants to see the whole island without SUV price. people who like luxury.
6. Kia Sonet (SUV 2025) – €59 / $69 p.d.
This is ideal if you want more height and boarding comfort. An SUV is nicer if you frequent unpaved beach roads or work with a high chair (you don’t have to bend over as much). In the back you can more easily fit a buggy/pram/wheelchair.
Fits: young families, travelers with high chairs, travelers with wheelchairs, people who want a little more visibility, divers with gear, older people who have more difficulty bending over.
7. Hyundai Stargazer (MPV 7-seater 2024) – €76 / $89 p.d.
This is the “everything must go” car. 7 seats for when traveling with family/friends, but you can also fold down the back row to get a sea of luggage space. Useful for:
- families with more than 3 children + stroller
- People with folding wheelchairs (note: always try on!)
- people who just moved to Curaçao and have a few extra bags
- friend groups who want to be in one car
Suits: families, groups, lots of luggage.
8. Kia Carens (MPV 7-seater 2025) – €79 / $93 p.d.
The Carens is the luxury version of the 7-seater. Modern look, lots of windows, comfy seats, big screen. Perfect if you drive a lot and want everyone to be comfortable.
Also handy if you have high chairs/wheelchairs + suitcases + beach gear: you can adjust the layout by the day.
Fits: larger families, grandparents along, long vacations, people who do a lot of shopping.

…with high chair travel?
Feel free to bring it with you or rent it from us. Prefer to choose at least a sedan or SUV, you’ll have room to set up.
…with stroller/buggy travel?
Go for Soluto, Versa/Accent or higher. You can even fit several baby carriages in the 7-seaters.
…have a folding wheelchair?
This usually works in a sedan with a large trunk, but a Stargazer/Carens is easiest because of height. Always notify in advance.
…have a lot of groceries or scuba gear?
Get a sedan or SUV, or plan on a 7-seater that day.
…have only carry-on luggage and are in town a lot?
Have a nice Kia Picanto – inexpensive and you park anywhere.
